Use this tutorial to add a household transfer for a child to an existing household on the Transfer History page.
Complete the following steps to perform this tutorial:
Display the Transfer History page.

Click the Household Transfer button. The page refreshes and displays a Household Transfer section with additional fields for entry.
View the child details in the Household Transfer section.
Child ID displays the child's unique identification number.
Child Name displays the child's first and last name.
The data in this section of the page is read-only.
View the details of the household from which the child is transferring in the Move From Household section.
Head of Household displays the first and last name of the person designated as head of the household.
Household ID displays the household's identification number.
The data in this section of the page is read-only.
Indicate whether the child is transferring to a new household or an existing household in the Move To Household section.
The radio button group in the Move To Household section provides access to various functions on the page. The radio button group consists of the following radio buttons:
Select the Add New Household radio button to indicate that the child is transferring to a new household.
Select the Existing Household radio button to indicate that the child is transferring to an existing household. This radio button is initially selected as the default.
When moving to a household, the page displays differently and some information may be disabled or unavailable.
Select the Existing Household radio button. The page refreshes to display an Existing Household section.
Select a radio button and complete information in one or more of the following fields to perform a search for an existing household:
The radio button group in the Existing Household section provides access to the search fields on the page. The radio button group consists of the following radio buttons:
Select the Head of Household radio button to search for an existing household by the head of household member's name. This radio button is initially selected as the default.
Select the Household ID radio button to search for an existing household by household identification number.
Select the Home Phone radio button to search for an existing household by phone number.
When searching for an existing household, some information may be disabled or unavailable.
In Last Name, enter the last name of the person on which to search. You can enter partial information to widen your search. At least two characters must be entered, and you can enter up to 40 characters as necessary. The Last Name is required when searching by name.
In First Name, enter the first name of the person on which to search. You can enter partial information to widen your search. This is an optional field. You can enter up to 25 characters as necessary.
In ID, select the identification number of the household on which to search. The complete ID number must be entered.
In Phone, enter the phone number on which to search. You can enter partial information to widen your search. At least 3 digits of the area code must be included.
Click Search. The page refreshes and results found to match the search criteria display in the results table.
When Search is clicked, results found to match the search criteria specified are displayed in the following column(s) of the table:
Household ID displays the household's identification number.
Head of Household displays the first and last name of the person designated as head of the household.
Home Phone displays the home telephone number for the household.
County displays the name of the county matching the search.
Address displays the street address, city, two-letter state abbreviation, and zip code.

Double-click on a household listing in the table to select it for transfer. The page refreshes and displays additional detailed information on the selected household.
Head of Household displays the first and last name of the person designated as head of the household.
Relationship displays the person's relationship to the household.
Address displays the street address, city, two-letter state abbreviation, and zip code.
Email displays the individual's electronic mail address.
Effective Date displays the date on which the item becomes (or became) active or assigned.
Preferred Method displays the person's preferred method of contact.
Best time to call displays the best time of day to contact by phone.
Text Message OK indicates whether it is acceptable to send text messages to the phone number listed.
Language displays the person's primary language.
Other displays the language that was entered for the person if the primary language was not found in the Language drop-down list.
Interpreter Needed indicates whether an interpreter is needed for verbal communication.

Click the Save button. The page refreshes and displays the new information in the Transfer History table.
