Use this tutorial to view or update detailed information about a billing entity on the Billing Entity Detail page.

Complete the following steps to perform this tutorial:
Display the Billing Entity Detail page.
View or update the following information as necessary:
Billing Entity Name displays the name of the individual billing entity.
Tax ID displays the tax identification number for the billing entity.
Status indicates whether the individual is currently active or inactive.
Legal Status indicates whether the billing entity is currently enrolled as an Independent or an Agency.
Payable indicates whether the billing entity is payable.
NPI Number displays the national provider identification number for the provider.
In Address, enter the street address at which the residence (or office) is located. You can enter up to 100 characters as necessary in each of the two address controls as necessary.
In Phone, enter the telephone number at which the person can be contacted.
In Mobile, enter the mobile telephone number at which the person can be contacted.
In Phone2, enter the secondary telephone number at which the person can be contacted.
City displays the name of the city in which the provider is currently located.
In Phone3, enter the tertiary telephone number at which the person can be contacted.
State/Zip displays the name of the state and the ZIP code in which the provider is currently located. Depending on your permissions, you may be able to update the Zip code.
In Fax, enter the facsimile telephone number at which the person can be contacted.
In Email, enter the electronic mail address for the person. Email addresses must be entered in the format of: name@xxx.zzz. At least 10 characters must be entered, and you can enter up to 50 characters as necessary.
In Contact, enter the first and last name of the contact person. At least two characters must be entered.
EFT Status indicates whether the billing entity's EFT status is currently Active or Inactive.
Click Save. The page refreshes and indicates whether the data saved successfully.
