NICU Referral

This page allows you to add an external NICU referral for a child.

The NICU Referral page is available to the following user role(s) within the Georgia Babies Can't Wait Child Care Management application:

Coordinator (service coordinators/intake coordinators)

District (case administrators)

Provider (service providers)

State (CFOs and state staff)

To access this page, complete the following steps:

On the NICU Referral (Access Code) page, enter an Access Code and click Next.

NOTE: This page can only be accessed when you are logged out of the Georgia Babies Can't Wait system.

Adding a NICU Referral

NICU referrals are referrals for children in intensive care units designed with special equipment to care for premature, low birth-weight, or seriously ill newborn children.
